Volunteering comes with expectations and responsibilities, but there are also many benefits that come with being a volunteer. Volunteering can help you – personally and professionally.  Helping out in your community can be a very rewarding experience.  Volunteers develop new skills, gain experience, meet new people, learn about the community and services being provided and know they are truly making a difference in someone else’s life.

Everyone wins with volunteering.  Organizations and individuals get the help they need. Volunteers enhance their resumes and have the opportunity to network with people who share their interests. Young people gain valuable experience that may assist them in getting accepted into the college of their choice. Children learn the value of giving to others.
