Community volunteers are invited to help share the warmth this winter with those less fortunate by collecting donations for our annual coat drive during the months of November and December.

In 2008, community partners helped to collect and donate more than 4,000 items including coats, hats and gloves to people in need in conjunction with the Gifts of the Season program.

Donations are sorted by volunteers and then distributed to thousands of participating families in need simultaneously with our Gifts of the Season program.

Much Needed NEW Winter Items:

    •Coats/Jackets (clean, gently used coats accepted)

    •Gloves

    •Hats

    •Scarves

    •Socks

    •Long/Thermal Undrewear

How You Can Help...

Hold a Drive:  Engage your co-workers, group members, family etc. to hold a NEW winter coat, hat and glove drive. Winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens are just a few of the items needed to help individuals and families in need get through the winter season. Materials are available for download under the “Materials” section of this page, or in hard copy which you can request when you call to sign up!

Volunteer:  Many volunteers will be needed to help with the sorting of the donated items for distribution to the recipients. You can sign-up to volunteer by yourself, or with your family or group, for a couple of hours, or a whole day.

When:  Wrapped in Love is coordinated annually during November and December.

Project Impact:  These generous donations of winter outerwear may be the only ones received by those less fortunate in our community. Sharing the warmth with our neighbors in need sends the message that others care.
