In addition to their support of United Way’s Community Fund, TD Bank’s Somerville Branch also served as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site for United Way’s Free Tax Preparation Program that assists low-wage earning individuals and families by making sure they claim their qualifying credits such as the Earned Income & Child Tax Credit.  An independent nonprofit organization, Somerset County United Way helps people who live and work in Somerset County through its vision that all residents possess a living income that will be attained through achieving financial stability, healthy lifestyles, and life readiness.
