Somerset County United Way’s Baby Bundles program is entering its eighth year of helping families in need in our area. Through the collection and distribution of NEW clothing, baby food and other supplies to local agencies, low-income families and expectant parents throughout SomersetCounty are provided the necessities to help their children get a better start in life.
Families in need are identified by local organizations serving low-income families in our community. In 2009, approximately 1,800 baby care items were collected and distributed to mothers in SomersetCounty to provide a better start in life for their babies.
How You Can Help...
Hold a Drive
Engage your co-workers, group members, family etc. to hold a baby supply drive. Formula, diapers, baby clothes, blankets and baby food are just a few of the items needed to help provide for mothers and their babies. Materials are available for download under the “Materials” section of this page, or in hard copy which you can request when you call to sign up!
Volunteer
Volunteers will be needed to help with sorting and packing the baby supplies for distribution to the recipients. You can sign-up to volunteer by yourself, or with your family or group.
Deliver NEW baby items on Wednesday, April 28 between 9 am – 4 pm to:
SomersetCounty 4-H Center
310 Milltown Road
Bridgewater, NJ 08807
